This is the main reason that cultivation of San Miniato vineyards is so laborious

As we drive towards the family home and cellar, we see young students harvesting the grapes. The grapes would be pressed and added to the Tuscany Red Wine they have named I X E. They are just one of two producers making wine from Tempranillo in Tuscany. The couple feel that the terroir marks their wines.
