I was traveling to Florida to visit a friend who admitted she was a horrible baker

I baked her a batch of cookies the night before my flight. The visit was before 9-11 and there wasn't an issue bring food as a carry on. I tend to ask simple questions and I try to give open-ended answers because I'm interested in a lot of things so I feel I can relate to them but I usually just get ignored or I'm given an excuse for them to not talk to me anymore.
