My job is to help keep their feet firmly on the ground while their heads are high in the clouds

Unfortunately, the other recent trend in modern child-rearing is avoiding honest, difficult conversations. A person who can adjust their expectations to their niche abilities will be happiest with where he/she is. But once the bug bit, it bit hard. Maybe this is sadly true for the majority, but definitely not for the way we raise our kids.

There's this guy I knew at school and he was a real troublemaker and a low life, now he's 25 with a gf and they recently had a baby, everyone's praising him, his family think he's so nice, but be is bad around them too but they don't know he's this bad.

I'm 13, and in 8th grade and this 9th grader is obsessed. originally I was like okay, but after a while I changed my mind. now he's going around telling people he missed me when we only talked for less than a day. people are making me feel bad about it.

So while I was punishing him, the youngest boy (4) decided to draw on an expensive pillow with an expo marker.

I am babysitting 3 boys and 1 girl today and one of the boys said a word (crap) that he knew he wasn t supposed to.
