Finally a nurse listened to me and all my concerns today

Our friends did this last cycle, granted it didn't work but I never knew there was medication to stop ovulation. It sounds like an option though. I may not have become a Mommy in 2016, but it will happen, someday in someway. It's worth a shot asking the doctor, hopefully they'll listen.
