Yet also so sad that people would have been treated in such a way

I love them, so these were a special treat. When I lived in Italy, my landlord used to invite me for dinner at their place. Not one of my proudest travel moments for sure. And those artichokes look so good. I will have to start trying the food. And now, look how expensive it is.
