It is a shocking reminder of the brutality of the Israeli occupation

Since 2000 the Israeli military occupation has issued over 26,000 administrative detention orders against Palestinians. Several years ago, I visited the Middle East for a conference on Palestinian political prisoners. In Palestine, I found that there were prisoners who had served over 30 years in Israeli jails.
