I also had no idea how many things I had in my house

In fact, I think I guessed that we would get rid of about 500-600 things. I know that I had a goal of 600 to beat another friend of mine who had done the challenge and that was about all I had. Honestly, when we started the challenge, I had no idea how much it would change my life.
