Actually taking time to make a plan and then not taking action

Marketing without a target audience is really just putting stuff out into the world and hoping someone will buy it. Figure out what makes them tick. What communities do they belong to? MARKETING WITHOUT A TARGET AUDIENCE IS REALLY JUST PUTTING STUFF OUT INTO THE WORLD AND HOPING SOMEONE WILL BUY IT.
