Others focus on such issues as disaster preparedness, food security, maternal health and climate change in villages. The energy projects include $220,000 on integrating solar energy microgrids and smart buildings in Morocco. The projects are funded through the Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) program.
