How do you turn off the TV and pretend the world is not imploding?

It has been percolating in my head, in my dreams, in my thoughts, since the events that prompted it. This is a long piece, but it needed to be. None of this can be said briefly. What do I have to offer, and how do I make a difference, without complicating things further?

Hannah:
I really regret telling them and I don't know how to get over it.

Hannah:
They said they wouldn't treat me differently, but they've been checking on me as if they were worried so things are just very uncomfortable and its bothering me.

Deidra:
Now, I have already paid and she probably won't come, what am I going to do there?
(3 October 2016)

Deidra:
What makes me mad is that I only signed up becuase I thought she was going with me.

Deidra:
She obviously cares more about seeing xfactor than she does me.

Deidra:
Then, today I paid for it (Laura still hasn't paid yet) and this evening, Laura texted me and said that she might not be going anymore because she has applied to get tickets for the Xfactor which is on the same night.
