There is not much excitement when the market trades so tightly

We have intraday movers and our holdings are doing well. Traders were greeted with solid gains as many leaders added to their recent gains. AMZN and FB continued their dominance as both stocks continue to hit all-time highs. NASDAQ stocks led the way as the index continues to remain the dominant index.

I have attended all the other reunions this part of the family has had (which my mother has not) but I just know my mother will flip if this happens due to her post-divorce anger (her divorce was in 1993). So how do I handle this ultimately if it happens?

She gets jealous and offended when I pick my Dad's family over her since my parents are divorced.

My mother will be mad I am not coming to the reunion due to the funeral.
