It is also easy to forget how our own work impacts the lives of others

We pause to remember and give thanks for those whose labor contributes to the quality of our common life. I have been observing the bees that live on the Cathedral campus. Every one of them buzzes about doing its part on behalf of the hive. Throughout history, bees have served as a reminder to humans of how important it is for humans to work for the common good.
