People are chattering about Ted Cruz not endorsing Trump

I'm getting out of Cleveland today and flying to London. So I won't see Trump's speech in real time. But why would anyone expect Ted Cruz to endorse Trump? Trump has not made peace with any of the other major players in the party, and he has no control over them.

Then after class I was talking to another guy and she came over and stood around us giggling at stuff I said and looking at me a lot and smiling at me but not saying much like she was hoping I'd ask her to hang out or something I am so confused.
